Who we are
Your Boiler Discount is a trading name of [YOUR NAME OR COMPANY NAME], [ADDRESS – a virtual office or registered office address is fine]. We are the data controller for the details you give us. Contact: hello@yourboilerdiscount.co.uk.
What we collect
Your name, phone number, email, postcode, the answers you give about your home and boiler, and where you found us (for example, a Facebook ad).
Why we use it
- To contact you about your quote by phone, text, WhatsApp or email, because you asked us to (consent and steps before a contract).
- To arrange your installation if you go ahead (performance of a contract).
- To measure which adverts work (legitimate interests).
Who we share it with
The Gas Safe registered business that surveys and fits your boiler, and the services we use to run the business: Google (storage and email), Meta (Facebook adverts and WhatsApp) and our text message provider. We never sell your details.
How long we keep it
If you don't go ahead, we delete your details within 12 months. If you do, we keep job records for 6 years for accounting and warranty reasons.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or tell us to stop contacting you, at any time by emailing hello@yourboilerdiscount.co.uk or replying STOP to any text. If you're unhappy with how we handle your details you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
